Southern Symposium at Kells Bay House and Gardens

This October marks a very special milestone – the 10th anniversary of the Southern Symposium at Kells Bay House and Gardens. Over the years, the Symposium has become a much-loved highlight of the Irish horticultural calendar, bringing together gardeners of all levels and world-renowned speakers for a weekend of learning, laughter, and lively conversations.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned Symposium regular, this year promises something truly memorable – great food, inspiring talks, and the breathtaking setting of Kells Bay to enjoy it all.

Symposium Schedule

Friday 3rd October – Gardens & Plant Centre open, evening guided tour, Symposium Supper & Guest Speaker.
Saturday 4th October – Morning coffee, full day of talks, Thai lunch, Q&As, and guided walks.
Sunday 5th October – Talks, networking over coffee, casual lunch, and time to enjoy the gardens.

Weekend Ticket: €175
Includes all talks, Friday dinner, lunches, refreshments, and guided activities.

Day Tickets: €95
Available for Saturday 4th (limited numbers).
