Gardening clubs and societies are the lifeblood of the gardening community throughout the country. Even the most pleasurable gardening can be quite a solitary occupation, and thus sharing time and ideas with like-minded folk in a gardening group can hugely enhance and expand ones’s gardening world.
The majority of these groups organise garden visits during the spring and summertime, and monthly lectures in person or by Zoom during the autumn and winter. They may also have plant sales or swaps. The great social interactions and friendships that develop within these groups are guaranteed!
WOULD YOU LIKE TO FIND A GARDENING CLUB IN YOUR AREA?
We would like our RHSI website to be the go-to place for the general public to enquire about gardening clubs and societies, whether these clubs are affiliated to the RHSI or not. (And of course we’d like them all to be!)
If you wish to find a club to join in your locality, please consult our county by county list in this section. Then request the individual club contact details from us in the RHSI at email@example.com. (For GDPR reasons we cannot post contact information directly onto the website.)
WE ARE BUILDING OUR LIST OF CLUBS/SOCIETIES
Our countywide list is far from complete. If you are aware of any clubs not on the list, we would greatly appreciate if you would send the club name and contact email address to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll check if they want to go on our list.
The second list is of clubs for which we have no contact information. Some may not even still be running. Any help again to email@example.com would also be greatly appreciated.
