The 2019 Annual RHSI Lecture ‘Designing with plants at Great Dixter’ by Fergus Garrett on 20th March, was made to an appreciative and full house at the Botanic Gardens. Fergus encouraged us all to experiment and showed how succession planting, texture and innovation has kept Great Dixter at the forefront of modern garden design, while he wove fond admiration and memories of Christopher Lloyd throughout his talk.
