Situated directly by the sea on Sheep’s Head on the Wild Atlantic Way with extensive views over Dunmanus Bay, Kilravock Garden is a moody, 1.7 acre Robinsonian-style coastal garden featuring a large range of exotic shrubs, trees and selected native plants that thrive in this mild microclimate. Kilravock consists of different, contrasting zones such as the Woodlands Garden, the Mediterranean Garden and the Southern Hemisphere Walk, check the website for all the other splendid gardens that make up Kilravock. A feast for gardening aficionados with intriguing collections of Restios, Sorbus, Acers, Dicksonias and Camellias. Kilravock is situated just over 1.5km west of Durrus village on the main road to Ahakista on Sheep’s Head peninsula. Watch out for the blue and white oval sign by the entrance, parking on grass opposite. Free entry for RHSI members on production of current membership cards.
