Ballyrobert Gardens

Ballyrobert Gardens, one of our northern Partner Gardens, has updated its web page and has provided a wonderfully illustrated tour of the garden throughout the seasons. The beautiful photographs are supported with humorous but informative script and explains much about the philosophy of this very unique Irish garden.

Look on the web page, www.ballyrobertgardens.com , click on Garden under the Ballyrobert Gardens heading and scroll down to ‘Take The Wee Tour’, we think you will find this most entertaining.   The garden is open each day except Sunday and directions are on the website.

The setting for the garden is a 17th century landscape complete with the original cottage, barn and farm layout extending to sixteen acres. Sensitively integrating these elements, the six acre garden contains an extensive collections of plants. Site features include a lake, streams, an orchard, meadows and woodlands. It is part of the Antrim Garden Trail.

Ballyrobert Cottage Garden offers a tearooms and a retail nursery specialising in cottage plants.
