Ballymaloe Cookery School sits on a 100 acre organic farm in east Cork. Walk through the little wooden gate at the entrance to the Cookery School and step into a veritable Eden. Beyond the main school building lie several captivating gardens- some carefully designed and highly ornate, others allowed to grow wild at certain times of the year. You’ll find a kitchen garden, ornamental fruit and herb gardens. Also a water garden, maze and Old Pleasure Gardens and Lydia’s Garden, each space having its own unique personality and a special story of its own to relate.
