Notes from Bellefield

We had a fantastic response to our snowdrop open weekend here at RHSI Bellefield with hundreds more visitors seeing the garden and the changes we have made here.

The snowdrops continue to blossom and are followed by Iris reticulata, Cyclamen coum, and Winter Aconites.

We’ve also welcome various groups, including Glengarra and Cullohill/Durrow flower and garden clubs also well at the Tipperary Branch of retired teachers. We always welcome groups to the garden by appointment at any time of year!

In the garden we’re busy potting this week, getting  lots of new and exciting plants in production for sale at other open days throughout the year.

We have to say a huge thanks to our volunteers who made the weekend work so smoothly and continue to help us here in the garden and behind the scenes with admin and grant applications too. Huge thanks to all of you  If you’re interested in volunteering please email bellefield@rhsi.ie
