Notes from Bellefield

It’s not often we welcome rain but this weeks heavy rain came just in time. The garden had started to suffer!

Unfortunately some of the new whippy growth suffered too, but everything looks much fresher after the badly needed showers.

The White Wistera and White Banksia Rose have preformed brilliantly and are just finishing as this is typed.

In the garden we’ve started planting out annuals and have been constantly keeping up the battle with the weeks, always critical in May!

The work we completed last year on the blue border is paying dividends as we’re discovering lots more Clematis and other climbers that had previously been lost in the undergrowth.

Our June opening is on the 7th and 8th where there will be lots to see! Including the new woodland extension and paths.
